Ok yeah, my previous comment is wrong, so completely ignore it! I think I do have page 82 sorted out now though. Here's what I think I can say without giving too much away: The checkerboard puzzle on page 82 is not self-contained, so think about where else to look. Everything you've already realized/solved about the puzzle on 82 should help you figure out where to look.
If I'm right about how this one works, it's one of the most difficult puzzles in the book to completely pull together, because once you find what you're looking for it's still not immediately obvious to see how to connect that to the final answer.
I hope this helps! Sorry for the lack of specificity--just really don't want to give anything away.

That surface with the green cylinder on page 82 was one of the hardest for me to understand. As far as I can tell, there is no way to solve that one using the printed book alone. Access to the website version of page 82 is necessary, and I used my computer in an additional way to reach the "aha!" moment.

Thank you guys for your comments. I'm still working on it, but your comments are helpful and it's reassuring to hear that other people have also found this to be a particularly difficult one.

I think I misinterpreted/misused the morse translation in the same way as you. Have you actually found how the cylinder/checkerboard should be used to get the correct link? (which I also know) I have a link, but I'm far from happy about it.

Did reesylou point you in the right direction on the Flow games blueandbluepencil? At least one of them can be completed the "wrong" way which threw me off a bit.
Could use a hint on what page the "big box of dots" on page 59 is connected to. Also the purple outlined grids on 66 and following seem mysterious.

for the "big box of dots". Think about where else dots were shown as a method. Also think about : why are every three lines marked a different color ?

Thanks lantana. The hint I need on these is almost always "it is that thing you thought it was, try harder." Except for the purple outline one, I'm sure that's not one of those I see I missed your earlier post, blueandbluepencil, it sounds like you were able to complete the "Flow" game puzzle.

Kirito, for the grids, think about what the numbered words/phrases under them represent. As usual, look for something similar elsewhere (not necessarily with 5 grids though)

Thanks, reesylou!
Now I'm trying to get anything to latch onto the shirt on pg 85. I know of one place at the beginning "nametag" was mentioned but that doesn't seem helpful, is it supposed to be?
Also my thought is that I shouldn't have to look outside of the puzzle itself if keyword/s are need with some certain sportsballs. I have a feeling I'm maybe mixed up about this one.

You are on the right track with both of them.... and I had a lot of trouble with both of those.

Wow. I feel like I've tried everything with the sportsballs.
And for the brown shirt should I be looking for a GATEMAN to NAG AT ME or is it a MAGENTA MEGA ANT I need to do that? Lol really don't know where to go with this one.

I don't think there is any "training" puzzle to show you what to do with that shirt. Be sure to look thru the book from the beginning, and look through your clues for where to focus.
As for the sportsballs -- and I'm glad I'm not the only one using that single-word term for them -- well, you probably know the method by now. Let the Master give you the key.
